Position Overview:

The Product Manager will play a critical role in shaping and driving our product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and VP of Engineering, this position will be responsible for managing product and technical backlogs, aligning feature development with market needs, and ensuring a seamless and innovative user experience. This role is essential for translating customer insights and competitive analysis into actionable product enhancements that support company growth and goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Establish a compelling product vision aligned with company objectives and evolving market demands.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine strategic goals and identify new growth opportunities.
  • In partnership with the CMO and VP of Engineering, develop and maintain a dynamic product roadmap that reflects priorities and timelines for upcoming features and releases.
  • Assess and prioritize product features based on impact, value, and alignment with business goals, balancing user needs and technical feasibility.
  • Gather, analyze, and incorporate feedback from customers, end-users, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the product and user experience.
  • Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and clear communication throughout development cycles.
  • Coordinate product releases, ensuring high-quality launches that meet customer expectations and internal standards.
  • Conduct ongoing product research and competitive analysis to inform feature development, user stories, and product positioning in the market.
  • Support the CMO in conducting competitive market analysis and managing the product backlog to respond to market shifts and competitor moves.
  • Work with content partners to effectively productize to resell their offerings.
  • Create clear, actionable user stories and product requirements that communicate customer needs and support seamless development.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering and other cross-functional teams to streamline project workflows, optimize resources, and resolve roadblocks.
  • Work with content partners to effectively productize offerings (in partnership with Jennifer Geisler for additional context and direction).

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years in product management, preferably with experience in Ed-Tech or a related industry.
  • Strong ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day project needs, analyze complex problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, delivering quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and act on customer insights, using this knowledge to enhance the product experience and meet market demands.
  • Proficient understanding of technical aspects of product management and development processes, including familiarity with agile methodologies and user experience best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of competitive analysis, industry trends, and customer needs, particularly in the Ed-Tech space.
  • Flexible and resourceful with a track record of thriving in evolving environments and overcoming challenges as they arise.
