Open position at Scienseed

Company description
Scienseed is a creative agency specialised in science communication. We design and develop communication strategies that combine creativity with scientific accuracy, working across a wide range of formats including video, animation, web, graphic design, publications, social media, campaigns, events, apps and other digital products.
We work with national and international clients, including research institutions, companies and European R&D consortia. In addition to project work, we also deliver training in science communication and develop lines of work related to communication impact and assessment.
We are a multidisciplinary team used to working with complex content, multiple formats and very different project needs. We are now looking for someone who can help us bring AI tools into our day-to-day work in a way that is practical, useful and well adapted to how we actually work.

The job
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in AI tools and workflow implementation to help us identify, build and integrate useful solutions across the agency.
This is not a senior or leadership role, and we are not looking for someone who simply keeps up with AI trends or suggests ideas at a high level. We are looking for someone practical and resolutive: a person who can take a real need, translate it into a workable process, test it with the relevant team, fix what does not work, document it properly and help make it part of the daily workflow.
In other words, we are not looking for superficial familiarity with AI tools, but for someone who knows how to make them useful in practice.
The person joining this role will work across different teams, helping us apply AI to tasks such as research, information synthesis, content generation and adaptation, knowledge organisation, documentation, reporting and light process automation.

What you will do
• Identify concrete opportunities where AI can improve recurring tasks and internal processes.
• Turn those opportunities into end-to-end workflows, not just ideas or isolated tests.
• Test, compare and assess AI tools based on actual team needs and practical usability.
• Build and implement AI-supported workflows in areas such as content, research, strategy, reporting, documentation and operations.
• Troubleshoot issues during adoption and refine workflows until they are genuinely usable.
• Create practical guides, prompts, templates and internal documentation that make implementation easier.
• Support colleagues in adopting new tools and workflows, with a clear focus on making them work in real conditions.
• Deliver internal training on useful and responsible uses of AI, always linked to concrete work processes.
• Follow up on pilot initiatives and help turn successful experiments into stable ways of working.
• Suggest process improvements that help us work more efficiently, consistently and with less friction.
What we are looking for
• At least 2–3 years of professional experience in roles related to applied AI, automation, innovation, operations, digital marketing or process improvement.
• Hands-on experience using different AI tools in professional contexts.
• Proven experience implementing workflows or process improvements from start to finish, not just exploring tools or making recommendations.
• Ability to understand a team’s need and translate it into a usable, documented and repeatable process.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
It would be a plus if you have
• Previous experience in an agency environment, especially in communication, content, creativity or digital work.
• Interest in or familiarity with science communication.
• Experience with no-code tools, automation platforms or knowledge management systems.
• Basic awareness of privacy, confidentiality and responsible AI use.
• Ease working across different projects and adapting to different internal needs.

The kind of person who might fit well here
We are looking for someone practical, curious and solution-oriented. Someone who enjoys figuring out how tools can improve the way people work, but who is equally comfortable doing the less visible part of the job: testing, adjusting, documenting, explaining, troubleshooting and making sure a workflow actually holds once people start using it.
You do not need to be a highly technical profile, but you should be comfortable moving beyond experimentation and helping teams get to something stable, clear and useful. We would especially value someone interested in communication, science, applied innovation and continuous improvement.

What we offer
• A role with practical impact across different teams in the agency.
• The opportunity to work in a specialised, multidisciplinary and international environment.
• Space to test ideas, improve processes and help shape how AI is used at Scienseed.
• Continuous learning in a growing and dynamic company.
• A hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
• Our offices are based in Madrid.
• Flexibility during holiday periods.
• Salary according to seniority.
