Managing Director, Seramount Chief Diversity Officer Collaborative (CDOC) Product Lead
The Managing Director, Seramount CDOC Product Lead will be a highly entrepreneurial and motivated leader charged with defining and driving the growth of our Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) Collaborative. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in product creation, launch, innovation, sales enablement, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
This position works closely day-to-day with the leaders of Seramount Advisory, Insights, and Events to deliver a set of relevant, competitive, and measurably impactful services to current and prospective CDOC partners. This hire will also serve as liaison to Seramount Sales & Account Management leaders, ensuring those teams have what they need to achieve ambitious growth via new Research partnerships and strong renewal performance.
The position may be based in any EAB office or is open to remote employment within the continental United States. This role may require travel (estimated at 40%).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: You continually refine the areas of focus and scopes of service for the CDOC offering to ensure partners feel they are getting well demonstrated value. This work requires the support and involvement of the leaders of Seramount Insights and Advisory, and the stakeholder management of the full Seramount Executive Leadership Team. You develop and deliver compelling research services and experiences that meet the needs of CDOs, DEI professionals, and other relevant corporate leaders, with a willingness to innovate on and extend current research and service approaches where necessary. You develop systems and processes to evaluate new product, service, and delivery pilots, collaborate on scaling successful innovations, and partner with EAB commercial teams and Seramount leadership to maximize the commercial benefit and partner value of new ideas.
- Program Leadership: You ensure that Seramount has a strong point-of-view on emerging issues, offers a distinctive value to the market, provides clear advice and implementation support, and educates executive leadership teams and boards about diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy. You partner with the lead of Seramount Advisory and Seramount Insights to define the topics and areas of focus each year—what should feature on our Research agenda, what should be the focus of our events, and how can we best deliver value and drive impact for our clients? You continually collect and use market feedback from clients and client-facing teams to ensure research and services are actionable, cutting-edge, and competitive, and when not, you determine the investments and changes required to adjust.
- Delivery of Expertise: You leverage your mastery over primary issue areas in the corporate DEI and talent space to deliver consistent and regular value to partners across a spectrum of terrains and industries relevant to Seramount partners. These value touchpoints include 1-1 strategic advisory sessions, research presentations at forums and events, and strategic opportunities you create to ensure value regular and consistent transfer to partners.
- Team and Talent Management: You manage, coach, and develop individual employees to effectively communicate and engage partners in Research initiatives, events, and signature services. You manage via influence across Seramount teams to ensure that Research projects are completed on time and consistent with EAB’s quality standards.
- People Leadership and Communication: You are a highly skilled communicator and active listener with an understanding of and ability to respond to different needs and perspectives. You can collaborate with leaders across business lines and functions to meet evolving market and client needs and to deliver against Research scopes of service. You can set a compelling vision, hear and respond to colleague needs, set and execute shared goals, establish rapport and credibility with clients and colleagues, and inspire action.
