EBSCO is a global leader in information solutions, serving academic, corporate, government, medical, and public libraries around the world. We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales and retention efforts across Central and West Africa. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who excels in relationship management, field sales, and customer engagement within the information services or library sector.

What You'll Do

• Achieve sales targets and drive year-on-year revenue growth.
• Conduct extensive customer visits (approx. 80% of the work week).
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers and manage renewals.
• Identify new business opportunities and promote EBSCO’s product portfolio.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and timely call reports.
• Attend conferences and present to large audiences as required.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate activity reporting using EBSCO’s CRM system.
• Escalate issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Represent EBSCO professionally and uphold our core values.

About You

• Experience working with libraries or information services (essential).
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable car (required).
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively, sometimes outside standard working hours.
• Strong sales experience and technical competency.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Quick learner with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Integrity, professionalism, and alignment with EBSCO’s core values.
• Preferably a degree in business or a related field.
• Must not be employed by any other company while working for EBSCO (exclusivity requirement).
