The Regional Vice President is responsible for building a successful sales team through hiring, coaching, and mentoring field sales professionals. The RVP will be responsible for fulfilling strategic sales goals and objectives through the development of tactical business plans to meet or exceed the region’s and company’s overall targeted revenue goal.

• Meet and exceed sales goals as assigned through aggressive tactical plans for sustainable revenue growth
• Develop territory, quota, and budget plan to meet company sales goals, including plan for sales growth
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain sales staff in accordance with company policies, standards, and practices
• Coach sales staff in requisite skills, knowledge, process, and practices. Partner with sales training to ensure all sales professionals have required skills and knowledge to be successful.
• Develop territory, quota, and budget plan to meet company sales goals, including plan for sales growth
• Ensure partnership with inside sales and field sales is successful and meets company strategic objectives
• Provide accurate and timely territory plans and pipeline forecast
• Manage expenses according to budget and requirements
• Stay involved with building and maintaining relationships with key customers
• Establish a culture within the team that encourages and motivates members to meet their maximum potential
• Maintain effective communication with executives and leaders across the organization to ensure proper sensitivity to sales force and vice versa
• Review and approve, within company guidelines, pricing and RFP’s

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of seven years of direct sales experience and three years of successful Field Sales management experience in education or technology
• Demonstrated experience and success utilizing CRM software to build, predict, and manage accurate sales forecasts and pipelines
• Comprehensive knowledge of e-Learning products, markets, and funding sources
• Proven leader that leads by example and embraces change
• Track record of building successful teams
• Ability to manage virtual sales teams
• Ability to travel extensively through assigned territory
• Team player with proven ability to resolve conflicts and problems
