Edustaff is eagerly seeking to hire Substitute Teachers with Columbia Public School District!

• Perform a variety of duties in assisting a licensed teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings.
• Prepare instructional materials, maintain classroom discipline, and lead planned activities designated by a licensed teacher.
• Help develop and maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.

All Substitute Teachers MUST meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Missouri Teacher certificate OR apply for a Content Substitute Teacher Certificate through the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE).
• Minimum requirement for Substitute Teacher Certification (MO): 36 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college, academic degree-granting college or university OR complete a 20 hour DESE approved course.
• To apply for work in Columbia Public Schools, you must undergo a background check (fingerprinting) using the 4-Digit Registration Number Code for Columbia-93: (provided at onboarding workshop).
