Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our dynamic facilities team! Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct detailed janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure a polished appearance.
• Carry out custodial duties that include window washing, carpet cleaning, and light maintenance repairs as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting (including residential painting), and ensuring equipment is operational.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects involving large-scale cleanup or specialized cleaning procedures.
• Monitor supply levels of cleaning materials and notify management when replenishments are necessary.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and are ready for daily use or special events.

Experience

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing is essential.
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods or large-scale facility maintenance is advantageous.
• Prior work involving facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting enhances your candidacy.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
