```Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Building Substitute Teachers to join our team. This position requires a commitment to working a full school day, Monday through Friday.

As a Building Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to students in the absence of their regular classroom teacher. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational growth.

Duties:
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and ensure continuity of instruction
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide instruction across various subjects and grade levels, adapting teaching methods as needed
- Support students in their academic and social-emotional development
- Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive activities
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior

Skills:
- Experience working with students
- Tutoring or childcare experience
- Knowledge of preschool or early childhood development
- Proficiency in literacy education strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classrooms and grade levels
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members

Qualifications

• 48 college credits
• Official Transcript
• Must obtain an expanded background check for school employees
• Must obtain a substitute permit

Pay Rate:

• $120/day: Indiana Substitute Permit-Building Substitute
• $160/day: Indiana Certified Teacher License-Building Substitute
• $150/day: Long-term assignment-FMLA coverage-Indiana substitute permit
• $250/day: Long-term assignment-FMLA coverage-Indiana Certified Teacher License

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $120.00 - $250.00 per day
