Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on high standards of hygiene and appearance.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high-quality flooring conditions.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to support the overall upkeep of the premises.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively to promote environmental sustainability.
- Respond promptly to custodial requests from staff or management to address immediate cleaning needs.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good working order and stocked appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing, is desirable.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving equipment as necessary.
