Position Summary of Substitute SPED Aide:

· Perform a variety of duties in assisting a licensed Special Education teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings.

· Prepares instructional materials, maintains classroom discipline, and leads planned activities designated by a licensed teacher or SPED Aide.

· Helps maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.

Applicants MUST meet the following qualifications:

• Pass a background check
• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED
• Transcript with a minimum of 48 credits and/or Associates Degree
• Minimum score of 460 on the ETS ParaPro Assessment (only if you do not meet credit requirements)
• Minimum score of 65% on "Instructional Support" an 70% on "Content Application" for the ParaEducator Master Teacher Assessment (only if you do not meet credit requirments)
• Submit a TB test/assessment form
• Hold a Valid WI SPED Aide License through the WI DPI
• Pass the ParaPro test

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.24 per hour
