Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales - West Coast

Location: West Coast (Arizona, California, Colorado - preferred; must be in Mountain or Pacific Time Zones)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Vice President of Sales (RVP) to lead and expand our sales operations across the West Coast region. This position will drive revenue growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and establish strong relationships with key clients within the educational technology sector.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the RVP of Sales, West will oversee a cross-functional team delivering expected bookings and revenue targets. As a strategic leader, this position will ensure that our products and solutions align with the needs of educational institutions, educators, and learners while maintaining a deep understanding of the unique demands of the region. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Identify key growth opportunities and market trends to capitalize sales within the region
  • Active support and participation in the cultivation, negotiation and closing deals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive customer success
  • Develop a high-performance sales culture by setting clear expectations, coaching, and providing ongoing training to team
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales Representatives
  • Build and maintain accurate, comprehensive pipeline and KPI reporting processes
  • Maintain data hygiene across the team through best-in-class CRM management practices

Ideal Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the Education or EdTech sector
  • A strong understanding of the West Coast market and its unique dynamics
  • Documented track record of exceeding team sales targets and objectives
  • Experience building teams and processes at scale
  • High degree of personal and professional integrity
  • Proficient with CRM/Engagement/Marketing automation platforms
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Travel: 25% travel expectations

Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000 DOE
