Role Overview

We are seeking to hire a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain eDynamic Learning applications. In this role, you will report to a Technical Lead and work closely with the rest of the Software Engineering team, DevOps, Business Systems, and other teams across the company. If you are a motivated and experienced full-stack engineer looking to make a powerful and positive impact in the education space, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features and refactor existing systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Write maintainable, testable, and performant software
• Participate in code review and perform extensive testing to ensure quality
• Own end-to-end feature development, including production monitoring and response
• Mentor junior team members and conduct code review and hands-on guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project timelines, set priorities, and deliver on objectives
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continually improve our technology stack

Ideal Qualifications

• 10 years of experience developing web applications in at least two languages
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js
• Experience with PHP preferred
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with React
• Experience developing high-traffic systems
• Experience with automated testing
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Linux and bash scripting (preferred)
• Legally allowed to work in the US and/or Canada

Skills

• Deep understanding of HTTP and writing API’s
• Self-starter that thrives with autonomy
• Ability to perform in a dynamic work environment
