Your Role

We are looking for a creative, target driven and dedicated manager to join our homestay recruitment team in Oxford. As a Homestay Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for our marketing campaigns, with a focus on offline events. You will be working closely with our accommodation team to inspire families to sign up for a life-changing experience by hosting international students. The role will focus on the implementation of new offline marketing strategies but also growth by leveraging offline channels to achieve our mission of opening the world through education.

Responsibilities

·       Manages recruitment, re-registration & monitoring of suitable homestay & private home accommodation.

·       Organise promotional events and ensuring the prompt delivery of branding is available at all events

·       Managing and creating appropriate content for a variety of channels to promote the homestay program

·       Ensures all enquiries from prospective hosts are promptly followed up and are enough leads to reach the targets

·       Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding hosts requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the host family’s targets

·       Sends weekly recruitment statistics to the Director of Student Services/ Operations Manager, ensuring targets are met

·       Raises any concerns about the targets to the Director of Student Services/ Operations Manager and organizes promotional campaigns where necessary

·       Participate in EF events around Oxford and the surrounding area to recruit host families, including leafleting and street promotions / actions

·       Processing & maintaining homestay accommodation records

·       Preparing written information to be given to prospective host families and ensuring it is kept up to date

·       Responsibilities not limited to those mentioned above, role will vary depending on targets leading up to summer peaks

·       Shares emergency duty on a rota basis

·       Occasional weekend work may be required during major fairs/events

Requirements

·       Sales orientated and target driven

·       Ownership mindset and ability to take initiative and work independently

·       Highly motivated, energetic, and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality

·       A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential

·       Confident in leading and managing groups of students

·       Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised

·       Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure

·       Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitivity to the needs of international students

·       All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
