COUNTRY MANAGER

Job Description:

Education First (EF) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Manager for our operations in Peru. As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the team to achieve and surpass sales and market goals. You will be responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the Peruvian market, ensuring its growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for Peru, aligning with EF's global goals and objectives.
2. Sales and Market Growth: Take charge of sales initiatives and market expansion efforts, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering sales across all channels.
3. Team Building: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing, success-oriented team. Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and contribution to the company's success.
4. P&L Management: Oversee the financial performance of the Peruvian market, ensuring profitability and cost management.
5. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competition, and customer preferences, using this information to inform strategic decisions.
6. Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operations across all aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, customer service, and administration.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments within EF, such as marketing, product development, and finance, to drive synergy and achieve company-wide goals.
8. Performance Monitoring: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor progress, making data-driven decisions to improve results.

Qualifications:

• Experience: More than 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role, including fronting a team and delivering exceptional results.
• Sales Expertise: Strong background in sales and sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ambitious and Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ambition, drive, and a commitment to achieving and surpassing goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Development: Proficiency in building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
• Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Peruvian education and services market is a plus.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically, analyze market conditions, and make data-driven decisions to drive growth.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
