Experiential learning has been at the heart of our programs since the company started, which allows us to spark connections and inspire curiosity, confidence, and self-awareness in teachers and students from across Canada. Our mission is to open the world through education – by helping people see new places, experience new cultures, and learn new things about the world and about themselves.
We are currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales Trainer to join our dynamic sales team. Working closely with the sales leadership team, the Inside Sales Trainer will identify training needs and develop customized materials tailored to the team's specific requirements. The ideal candidate has a sales background themself, and an understanding of the best practices, tools, and resources that sales professionals need to succeed. They should also have experience specifically with sales training through interactive methods, such as call coaching.
What You'll Do:
  • -Conduct training sessions for inside sales representatives, covering essential topics such as sales techniques, product knowledge, and objection handling.
  • -Run call coaching, role play and improvisation exercises regularly with sales representatives to engage and educate staff through interactive lessons – we are all about learning by doing!
  • -Provide personalized, ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to inside sales representatives, enabling them to improve their performance and reach their targets. -You don’t just teach – you also evaluate, customize your approach, and consistently evolve to match the needs of the business and of the individual sales staff.
  • -Create engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, and quizzes, to effectively communicate sales concepts and best practices.
  • -Collaborate with the sales leadership team to identify areas for improvement and design targeted training programs to address those needs.
  • -Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sales training, integrating new ideas into training programs.
  • -Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.

Who You Are:
  • -You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • -Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an inside sales trainer or in a similar role. We are open to hearing from candidates with a background in sales management, particularly if your role included training your team through methods such as call coaching.
  • -You have experience working in a B2B sales environment
  • -Ideally, you have experience or are familiar with working in the travel industry
  • -Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely. You don’t just know your stuff – you're able to communicate and transfer knowledge effectively.
  • -You know how to make learning fun! You can develop compelling training materials infused with exciting energy that captivate learner’s attention, boost morale, encourage friendly competition and help you build genuine connections with the team.
  • -Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to sales representatives, and to customize and individualize your approach to achieve the highest possible success.
  • -You are self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • -Experience using sales enablement tools, such as Salesforce, is advantageous.
