Your Role

Lead the onsite residence staff at EF Dublin this summer, enhancing your leadership skills and guiding groups from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable. If you thrive in a sociable, fun, yet challenging environment, we want to hear from you. As a Residence Manager, you'll create amazing memories, manage an international team, and hone organizational and communication skills. The role runs from May/June through to August 2024, on a fixed term contract and with permanent opportunities available afterwards.

Responsibilities

• Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. A live-in position that sees you having the overall responsibility for a hotel/residence and the students/staff who are staying there
• Support a team of international leaders to ensure our students have a home away from home experience
• You will take care of room allocation, supervise a team of leaders and ensure the hotel staff work in harmony with your team
• You will liaise with residence owners and staff on anything from cleaning to theme events and safety

Requirements

• A flexible approach to hours of work undertaken is essential
• Experience of managing or leading a team desirable
• Highly motivated, energetic, positive
• Customer service orientated, friendly & approachable manner
• Able to remain calm under pressure & to diffuse potentially difficult situations
• Sensitive to needs of international students living away from home
• Excellent communicator with students, colleagues, and external clients
• Attention to detail, organized & thorough
• Clear background check and two references
• Right to work in Ireland
