The Opportunity

EF Academy is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Budapest, Hungary. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing solutions that directly impact the efficiency and overall success of our global school and admissions staff.

As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Admins to create new features and optimize existing processes. Your responsibilities include developing custom applications, designing visual layouts, managing Salesforce Communities, integrating third-party platforms, and overseeing the overall DevOps process.

Qualifications

• Strong Object-Oriented Design (OOD) background in JAVA, C#, or Python.
• Experience in working with large and complex enterprise systems.
• Minimum 5+ years of Salesforce.com development experience in Apex, JavaScript, LWC, and VisualForce.
• Proficiency in Salesforce DX (SFDX) with at least 3+ years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com architecture and data model.\
• Extensive experience in Git and CI/CD processes (at least 5+ years).
• Competency in HTML, SQL, JSON, REST, and SOAP-based web services.
• Strong understanding of software best practices, including Refactoring, Clean Code, Domain Driven Design, SOLID principles, etc.
• Strong understanding of Apex Common Framework.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the discovery of Salesforce.com projects/integrations, providing technical insights and guiding technology choices.
• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality solutions on Salesforce, including Lightning, Apex, and VisualForce.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and coordinate development strategies with other product groups and development teams.
• Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Embrace agile best practices, software development methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Develop technical specifications, process flows, and application designs related to projects.
• Manage Salesforce.com technical environments, ensuring safe, secure, and organized deployment of projects/code/configuration.
