Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (Opportunity to work in-office 3 days a week and from home 2 days a week. This is not a remote role.)

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team and help us build long-lasting relationships with our customers. You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns, calendar, and select strategic initiatives in support of the overall company. You have a deep understanding of email marketing best practices and how to apply them to the execution of our email campaigns and programs.
What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Retention Marketing and leadership team in setting up the infrastructure for email marketing across all our audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to develop integrated marketing strategies and scale supporting technology and processes.
  • Execute on email campaigns from concept to deployment by:
    • Developing creative briefs
    • Managing campaign content, stakeholder reviews and edits ensuring milestones and interim deadlines are met to deploy emails on time
    • Perform quality assurance on all coded emails with Email team to ensure products, content and links are all correct and emails deploy error free
  • Be a thought-leader and collaborator with the cross functional marketing teams to create campaigns, content and promotions that resonate across audiences
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and trends; understand & communicate effectiveness and ROI.
  • Maintain a fluid email marketing calendar to meet the needs of the business.
  • Leverage available technology capabilities (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Trustpilot) to create the best customer communication experience.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, retention/lifecycle marketing
  • Experience working with email marketing tools and platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Trustpilot and Adobe
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues, and working to resolve them
  • Pays close attention to detail while working in a fast moving environment
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
