Your Role

As our Business Development Manager, you will forge partnerships with local Dublin businesses in relevant industries to facilitate our Job Club and Internship programmes here at our Dublin school as well as create long term business partnerships interested in becoming part of our EF Community programme. This project demands a deep understanding of Dublin’s temporary and seasonal job markets, particularly in hospitality, retail, service but also wider industry connections and knowledge of companies that would be ideal partners for our school.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a targeted business development strategy that will create partnerships with local employers that will offer internship roles and other work opportunities to our students
  • To develop contacts with employers here in Dublin that are willing to offer our students longer term job roles as part of the Job Club programme
  • Establish connections and secure partnerships within specific industries (but not limited to) known for seasonal hiring, such as hospitality, retail and other service industries
  • Working with the school team to secure interview commitments from local businesses
  • Create a database of relevant businesses with potential for long-term relationships creating mutually beneficial partnerships, such as our Community Card programme

Requirements

  • Demonstrated networking capabilities within Dublin’s business community, particularly in targeted industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Clear background check and two references
  • Right to work in Ireland
