Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaboration: Work closely with our business stakeholders, in partnership with our product manager and analytics manager, to understand how to best address their data needs.
- BI Solution Development: Design and build efficient semantic models that provide consistent data for our stakeholders across multiple use cases.
- Reporting and Visualization: Design and build interactive dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights for our users to act on.
- Communication: Engage in agile practices and maintain regular communication with our stakeholders to ensure the solutions you develop meet their expectations.
- Project work: Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on process-related analytics to drive change in behavior and processes and help address bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- 6+ years of experience in a BI/Data Analytics role.
- High expertise in SQL and data modelling techniques like Kimball.
- High expertise in working with reporting tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
- Experience in statistical analysis software, such as R or Python, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to create buy-in from stakeholders.
- Strong ability to manage objectives & deadlines for timely delivery, and to proactively develop contingency plans when timelines are at risk.
- High-quality standards and attention to detail in the way work is approached.
- A mindset that questions the status quo and stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in BI development.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English.
