Business Development Manager (Shanghai)

- Work together with franchise school team to achieve weekly/monthly/ yearly sales goals
- Arrange info meetings, life club events or reunion parities in schools to generate leads and convert pipelines
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients
- Drive repeat and referrals to meet repeat and referral benchmark
- Build concreate travel and business action plan for the cities you are responsible for
- Track revenue progress and conduct regular review with school responsible staff
- Collect payments, arrange course leader training and pre-departure events
- Handle customer issues and provide post-purchase support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Be on top of visa status by working closely with visa team
- Build relationships and trust with investors, center directors and front line staff
- Conduct regular trainings to ensure school team have sufficient product knowledge and promotional tools
- A candidate for the role of BDM should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in BD or client acquisition role and a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership capacity for a reputable company
- A suitable candidate will have demonstrated success with a proven track record in driving revenue growth
- Hands-on and can spend 50% of time to travel
- Revenue-driven and results-oriented
- International Travel Industry experience or education experience will be ideal
- Fluency in both written and spoken local language and English
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong business acumen and commercial instincts – eager to grow a business
- A customer-focused nature dedicated to quality with built-in cultural awareness
- An ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines and perform under pressure
- Positive attitude and believing that nothing is impossible
- Creative, but strategic thinker - with a passion for details
- A flexible attitude towards work - you are not, and do not wish to be a 9-6 person
