Summer Live-In Residence Advisor
About The Role
As a Summer Live-In Residence Advisor, you will work closely with the Residence team to ensure that our international students enjoy a safe, welcoming, and high-quality living experience. You will be an integral part of the students’ journey, helping them feel at home and supported while studying abroad.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and guidance to students living in residence
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive living environment
- Student Intake and Arrival Procedures
- Student Well-Being and Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for student queries, concerns, and emergencies
- Assist in organizing residence activities and fostering a sense of community
- Collaborate with other staff to deliver a first-class student experience
- Uphold EF standards and policies in residence management
- Previous experience in a Residence Advisor or similar role (experience with EF considered a strong asset)
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Hospitality and Customer Care experience
- Ability to handle responsibility and act as a positive role model
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- A full-time, live-in position in shared accommodation provided (or without accommodation)
- Definite contract with the possibility of extension
