eLuma is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide virtual services to K-12 students. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators who are looking for flexibility, work-life balance, and the ability to make a difference in students’ lives through teletherapy and virtual education services.

Position Details

• 100% Remote
• Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Provide direct virtual instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, administrators, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.
• Recommend accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology supports.
• Support students’ communication, language development, and academic achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid state certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable utilizing technology and virtual platforms.
• ASL proficiency preferred but not required, depending on district needs.
