Description

The Executive Coordinator to the CEO serves as a strategic partner and operational anchor, ensuring the CEO’s priorities are executed with clarity, efficiency, and impact. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support, acting as a central connector across internal teams and external stakeholders.

The Executive Coordinator is responsible for optimizing the CEO’s time, driving key initiatives forward, managing high-level communications, and supporting board engagement, business development, and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Operations & Time Optimization

  • Manage and optimize the CEO’s calendar to align with strategic priorities
  • Serve as the primary gatekeeper for internal and external requests
  • Proactively anticipate needs and ensure the CEO is prepared for all engagements

Strategic Project Management

  • Lead and support special projects across communications, business development, and organizational priorities
  • Track key initiatives, ensure follow-through, and drive accountability
  • Prepare briefing documents, summaries, and recommendations for decision-making

Board & Executive Communications

  • Coordinate preparation of Board of Directors materials, including presentations and reports
  • Partner with senior leaders to gather inputs and ensure alignment
  • Support ongoing communication and engagement with board members

External Relations & Brand Support

  • Support the CEO’s external presence, including speaking engagements and partnerships
  • Manage and curate CEO social media in alignment with company brand
  • Coordinate logistics and preparation for conferences, events, and external meetings

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for executive meetings and initiatives
  • Ensure timely follow-up on action items and key deliverables
  • Act as a liaison to ensure alignment across the organization

Travel & Logistics

  • Manage CEO travel, including itineraries, logistics, and expense reporting
  • Occasionally travel to support the CEO at key events
Requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • SME in e2L history and products
  • 5+ years supporting senior executives or in a high-level coordination role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High proficiency in productivity tools and systems

Preferred

  • Experience in K-12 education or education services
  • Experience supporting a CEO or C-suite executive
  • Background in communications, marketing, or business operations

Summary

  • This is a full-time, exempt position.
  • This is a remote position.
  • Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as necessary.
  • Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
