Role Overview

We are looking for Software Engineers who are passionate to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, microservices-based web solution. You will get to work on cutting-edge tech used by thousands of clinical students and practitioners in the USA.

As a Software Engineer – Frontend, you are expected to solve complex programming problems and contribute to high-quality UI design and architecture. You should have experience building enterprise-grade software using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks. Understanding of Agile Scrum process is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean code with automated unit tests.

• Able to mentor team members to scale up on best design, coding, and code review practices.

• Contribute to UI architecture and component-level design.

• Hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript along with a frontend framework like React or Angular.

• Full stack understanding of web/mobile/API/database development concepts and design patterns.

• Strive for quality, performance, usability, reliability, maintainability, and extensibility.

• Participate and contribute to continuously improving Agile software development processes.

• Work under the guidance of development managers and product owners to analyze, modify, and implement various common business needs.

• Get involved in tech POCs to provide recommendations and apply the outcome to realization.

• Implement unit, integration, and other automated tests.

• Understanding of DevOps, automation testing, test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD).

• Understanding of Agile Scrum and SDLC principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based frontend deployment (e.g., CDN, S3, CloudFront).

• Managing or mentoring a small team.

Desired Experience

• 3 to 8 years of experience building enterprise-grade software.

• We look for good programmers (not just good technologists) who bring a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and SOLID principles to the table.

• While we operate on a .NET stack, we are not hung up on specific technologies or programming languages.

Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
