The opportunity

We are seeking someone to join our team and work on all activities related to university engagement and student events.

This is a hands-on role, supporting the EY University Relations Lead in Dublin. EY’s student recruitment team is responsible for attracting top student talent for all EY early careers programmes such as the EY Summer Internship, Work Placement and Graduate Programme, resulting in over 600 new hires per year.

As a University Relations and Events Administrator, you will be assigned tasks relating to university activity and external/internal events where you will support our University Relations Lead and Employer Brand and Marketing team with the end-to-end event and project delivery, with the main aim of attracting top student talent.

This is a fast paced role, which will require maintaining and managing large volumes of data, liaising with external and internal vendors, having a great working relationship with university stakeholders and being on top of student trends in order to provide the best in class events and branding opportunities.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with the University Relations Lead to manage internal student engagement events such as Discover EY insight days in each of our offices- create marketing material with our Creative team, manage venue booking, plan sessions, arrange speakers and invite attendees.
• Manage the day-to-day running of university club and society sponsorships- arrange internal speakers and events in collaboration with the committee members, oversee invoices and arrange catch up meetings.
• Manage an annual calendar of campus recruitment events and oversee all coordination of planning and material and resource requirements.
• Work with the University Relations Lead and Recruiters to promote EY at campus events- career fairs, workshops and Q&A sessions.
• Work with the University Relations Lead to oversee the day-to-day running of campus competitions, academic awards, university specific events and branding partnerships.
• Work closely with our Employer Brand and Marketing team to ensure we are engaging students and universities in the correct way through our social channels recruitment campaigns and external branding.
• Liaise with our service line and university stakeholders to ensure we have a strong and successful relationship with each.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a strong academic record
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience within event management, marketing, recruitment or university engagement is desired
• Excellent attention to detail, be highly organised and used to working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, social media platforms
• Stakeholder management experience is an added advantage
• Previous project management experience is an added advantage

• Previous experience working in a professional services environment
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a wider team when needed
• Experience and comfort in adapting to change
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Resilience and the ability to work under pressure in a complex business
