The opportunity:

Senior Consultant Data Governance - Business Consulting Risk - FSRM - Bangalore

Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.

Your key responsibilities:

Job Overview

  • Ensure compliance to the data management principles.
  • Ensure Data governance and perform Data quality management tasks

Data Governance:

  • Coordinate with global/regional risk teams to ensure all the regional processes are aligned globally and data governance activities are implemented across all regions.
  • Coordinate and lead Data Governance related activities with Group Data Management team, to make sure the dashboard reflects right data.
  • Work with DQ team, to make sure all the critical data elements are mapped to DQ controls and dashboards are accurate at all times.
  • Ensure trusted sources are identified and registered for all in scope business processes. Co-ordinate this effort with system and business process owners.
  • Review lineage annually to make sure they are compliant to Bank’s data polices and acquire sign-off from all stakeholders.
  • Collibra and Alteryx knowledge is a plus.

Data Quality:

  • Ensure data controls are established, evidenced, and monitored as per the policies and guidelines.
  • Analyse existing controls and remediate the identified data quality issues.
  • Design the controls based on data lineage and ensure compliance with regulatory standards like BCBS 239.
  • Ensure efficient handover to the BAU team to ensure ongoing support of the control breaks and issues.
  • Coordinate and lead Data Quality related activities to make sure the dashboard reflects right data.
