The Opportunity:
Ernst & Young's International Social Security (ISS) Practice is the leading global provider of social security services. The dedicated ISS team based in London includes ex-social security administration staff, qualified accountants, and tax advisors with backgrounds in expatriate tax, immigration, and assignment management. The Group manages a global range of social security advisory and compliance work relating to individuals moving to and from the UK and between any other two country combinations throughout the world. We are now looking to grow our team with a Senior Consultant.
About You:
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate effective change and technical expertise in shaping and delivering high-impact communications and engagement activities. We seek creativity, resilience, and the ability to build strong internal and external networks. We want people who are motivated and passionate to work on different client projects across a range of sectors, and who display curiosity and enthusiasm when faced with clients’ unique challenges in the world of International Social Security.
You will have extremely strong coordination skills, be meticulous in detail, self-motivated with strong influencing and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task. The ability to work in small teams as well as actively contribute to the overall larger Group is essential. Your ability to deliver accurately to tight deadlines while managing stakeholder relationships will be a result of your excellent organizational and project management skills. A strong case management skill set is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for a portfolio of clients with a focus on private/fast-growth UK-headquartered organizations.

- Managing the successful delivery of mobility tax projects and ensuring technical excellence.
- Responsible for day-to-day delivery of client services, with a focus on advisory.
- Building relationships within the firm, across service lines, and with our overseas colleagues to identify mobility opportunities.
- Proactively seeking new tax projects from existing clients and driving new work from target companies.
- Being a trusted member of the management team by developing and counselling junior members of staff and making key decisions that affect the team.
