The opportunity

This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and develop your skillset to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients’ team and we’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry.

You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of solutions built on the Dynamics 365 platform. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life. You will lead a team of competent resources and guide, inspire and mentor the team, according to the EY culture and key goals.

As a Senior Manager in Solution Architecture, you will be at the heart of our technology capability, driving the delivery of complex solutions that align with our strategic business objectives. You will manage budgets, oversee project delivery, and ensure performance outcomes while building and maintaining valuable client and commercial relationships.

Your key responsibilities in this pivotal role, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality and managing operational risks.
  • Engage actively in delivery leadership, project management, and client interactions across all project phases.
  • Travel frequently to meet client needs and project requirements.
  • Solve complex problems using proven methods and evaluative criteria.
  • Influence policy and procedural changes with potential broad business impact.
  • Provide direction and feedback to teams, contributing to performance evaluations and the hiring process.

Skills and attributes for success

  • A commitment to participate in networking activities, prospect new and existing clients, identify new opportunities, and develop customized sales strategy for each pursuit and collaborating effectively with resources from other service lines / sectors.
  • Proficiency leading Microsoft Finance & Supply Chain implementation projects in accordance with service delivery standards with a focus on strategy, implementation and ERP optimization including integration, security, data integrity, business value and business process design.
  • Leading and supporting client delivery teams on the implementation of solutions following.
  • Ability to lead and support client delivery teams on the implementation of solutions following implementation methodologies and service level quality standards.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to provide coaching to exceptional employee talent to create and enhance career path opportunities while supporting a culture of accountability and open communication.
  • Skilled in developing methodologies, practice aids and thought leadership and embedding best practices to drive global consistency in client delivery
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex solutions.
  • Strong focus on maintaining quality and navigating operational risks.
  • Capability to manage budgets and project delivery effectively.
  • Experience in building and managing client and commercial relationships.
  • Ability to travel as required for client engagements and project needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations.
  • Good understanding of the Power Platform and how to integrate with Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing and data architecture.
  • Strong business skills including relationship management, commercial awareness, and communication.
  • Executive level experience and ability to communicate effectively with C-level Executives
  • Experience with business process transformation, change management and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of key business processes such as R2R, O2C, P2P, H2R, as well as Advanced WMS and Inventory Management.
  • Ability to lead and direct ERP Core Team members in line with the goals of the ERP program.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and delivering sizeable projects including leveraging both onshore and offshore resources.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to drive outcomes.
  • Emotional agility, leading teams, and managing change.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $150,000 to $342,600. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $180,000 to $389,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
