Your key responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Data Management to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in data sampling, modelling and statistical analysis, designing, developing and maintaining large-scale data accuracy to ensure efficient business insights and data-driven decision-making for our clients. The Cybersecurity Engineer’s responsibilities include but not limited to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company and client data and infrastructure.

Responsibilities for success include, but not limited to:

  • Implement solutions to improve business processes, systems and procedures by analysing historical data

  • Gather all the requirements, analyse the data and collaborate with the key stakeholders in developing strategies and action plans to enhance operational efficiencies, translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Implement data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data accuracy, reliability and consistency

  • Develop data analysis solutions using scripting languages and ETL processes

  • Contribute to the development of the various TechOps strategies and roadmaps as required to enable realization of the business strategies and objectives

  • Development of quantitative and qualitative metrics based on the raw data and a centralized dashboard for continuous improvement and monitoring

  • Follow-through on all the deliverables with all the relevant stakeholders until it reaches completion, track all the progress of all the workstreams and action items with speed and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4+ years in data engineering projects, data sampling, statistical analysis and modelling

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills to effectively interact with all types of stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to develop solutions and action plans on the gap/s found from the raw data

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft excel and/or Power BI for data presentation and analysis

  • Have an in-depth understanding of data security, compliance standards and regulatory requirements

  • Familiarity with Python, NodeJs and data warehousing is a plus

General Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree relevant to Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or Accountancy

  • Can work under pressure, displays high level of ownership & accountability with very minimal supervision to execute tasks and deliverables

  • Cybersecurity and/or data-related certifications
