As a JIRA Expert Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our clients project management processes by leveraging JIRA's capabilities to their fullest potential. You will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining JIRA instances across various projects and teams within our organization.

Job Description

  • Jira Configuration And Customization: Configure JIRA workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications to meet the needs of different projects and teams. Customize JIRA dashboards and reports to provide visibility into project status, progress, and key metrics.
  • Integration and Automation: Integrate JIRA with other tools and platforms (e.g., Confluence, Slack) to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration. Implement automation rules and scripts (using tools like ScriptRunner) to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • User Support and Training: Provide guidance and support to users on JIRA best practices, functionality, and usage. Conduct training sessions or workshops to onboard new users and enhance the skills of existing users.
  • Administration and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including user management, backups, and upgrades, to ensure the stability and reliability of JIRA instances.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to JIRA configurations or integrations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest JIRA features, plugins, and industry best practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the JIRA environment.
  • Seasoned Scrum Master: Guiding high performing teams through Agile practices for continuous delivery of value.

Qualifications:

  • Graduates / BE - B. Tech / MCA
  • 6+ years of experience as a JIRA Administrator or JIRA Expert.
  • 2+ years as an advanced-level Jira user. Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

To qualify for the role, you must have,

  • Proven experience as a JIRA Administrator or JIRA Consultant in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of JIRA's architecture, including workflows, permissions, custom fields, and plugins.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with JIRA integrations (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins) and automation tools (e.g., ScriptRunner) is highly desirable.
  • Certification in JIRA Administration (e.g., Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator) is a plus.
  • Strong 6-9 years of experience in Agile delivery methodologies
