Job Title: Technical Program Manager – AI in Tax Initiative

The Opportunity:

Join Ernst & Young's Tax Technology & Transformation team as a Technical Program Manager and play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of innovative AI solutions for tax compliance. You will be part of a dynamic team, leveraging the latest AI technologies to drive efficiency and accuracy in tax processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the AI in Tax initiative projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Facilitate user onboarding and training sessions to maximize adoption of new AI technologies.
• Monitor project progress, conduct analytics, and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Review and provide feedback on UI/UX designs to ensure a user-centric approach.
• Address team issues, manage resources effectively, and support the professional growth of team members.
• Oversee the application deployment process across various environments, ensuring seamless integration.
• Engage in problem-solving and coordination to address project challenges and dependencies.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and support ancillary project needs as they arise.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Experience with AI technologies and programming languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with application deployment and cloud environments.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of DevOps processes and deployment strategies on public cloud platforms.
• Delivers the project within the constraints of time, scope, and costs by applying best in class project management practices
• Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively
• Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation
• Familiarity with working in a decentralised team structure with experience of handling ultiple stakehodlers and deployments across environments

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

• BE/BTech/MCA/(Btech/ BE/ + MBA)/ MTech from any Govt. recognized university/Institution
• At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, with exposure to AI/ML projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• ITIL certification (preferred).
• Experience in AI/ML projects (preferred)

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• The ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• A customer-focused approach with the capacity to interact with various levels of management.
