The opportunity

The Central Operation Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects, including organizing events within the Central Operations department. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams/stakeholders towards achieving project goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget.

Your key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee assigned projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project completion.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Central Operations team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, promoting professional development and growth.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management/event management.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive collaboration across diverse teams.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• A Master’s degree in a related field.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent.
• Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
