The EY Marketing team play a critical role in helping deliver EY’s purpose and vision by creating distinctive, audience-centric marketing activity that has a measurable impact.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Digital Marketing Assistant Manager to join our highly ambitious Marketing Team. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, this role will support the central marketing team to strategize and activate key activities across Digital channels.

This role will suit a highly creative, ambitious and strategic digital marketing professional, who will play an integral role in helping develop, manage and execute on the firm’s strategic digital marketing campaigns and activities.

Role Responsibilities

Work closely with Head of Digital Marketing to deliver strategic activity across all paid social and search channels

  • Develop, implement, and optimise paid social and search campaigns on LinkedIn, Meta, Google Advertising and external media channels.
  • Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to maximise campaign effectiveness.
  • Create compelling ad copy and visual assets in collaboration with our in-house Creative team.
  • Monitor and adjust campaigns to ensure they meet performance objectives and budget allocation.
  • Levering existing insights and best practice digital to support with development of tailored campaign strategies for the EY campaigns, Podcasts, surveys/reports, and core initiatives.
  • Work with internal marketing team to ensure alignment in messaging and objectives.
  • Keep up to date with best practices to improve strategies though AB testing.
  • Delivering lead generation through digital initiatives.
  • Report on leads generated through each campaign and reporting results to Marketing Director and Head of Digital.

Measurement and reporting across digital campaigns and advertising

  • Analyse campaign data to identify trends and insights.
  • Support with creation of detailed reports and presentations analysing effectiveness and providing best practice recommendations.
  • Implement changes based on data analysis to optimise campaigns.

Support with management of external advertising activity in affiliation with Head of Digital

  • Support in identifying opportunities for special reports and print advertising.
  • Work closely with national and regional publications to amplify EY’s core functions.

Ensuring budget adherence

  • Monitor and reporting on spend throughout the year to ensure budget adherence and efficiency.

Cross Functional Digital Team alignment

  • Work closely with the website team on SEO best practises and keyword research
  • Work closely with the social team to ensure alignment of messaging, tracking and activity planning
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team on the creation of campaign assets and activation
  • Play an integral role in the planning, creation, implementation, tracking and measurement of end-to-end digital marketing campaigns to deliver marketing objectives and KPIs.
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team, external agencies, and in-house creative team to develop and deliver differentiated, brand focused and customer centric assets and campaigns.
  • Manage the planning of impactful asset and content creation, campaign planning and digital channel delivery of our firms’ strategic messaging.
  • Lead and leverage brilliant paid advertising initiatives via social media channels and search engines.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of the EY social media schedule.
  • In affiliation with the Marketing team, leverage major global EY campaigns, with appropriate localisation for the Irish market.
  • Own and deliver regular reports of campaign results, including evaluation of KPIs.
  • Collect and use market insights and data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing to ensure timely communications, project updates and outcomes, are being delivered to plan.
  • Help embed a culture of excellence and innovation in all digital marketing activities for EY, to ensure best-in-class practices for the Markets team and wider firm.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum of 4 years digital marketing experience, with proven experience and results developing and executing digital campaigns that support wider business objectives
  • BS/MS degree in marketing/digital marketing or a related field
  • Digital and social media advertising experience (certification/qualifications desirable)
  • Experience with curating engaging social media platforms, with a solid background in brand-building and paid advertising on LinkedIn, Instagram and search/display networks.
  • In-depth knowledge of practical SEO and keyword research
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing for lead generation via paid and organic mediums
  • An understanding of utilization of brand website and importance of the user journey
  • Hands on experience using data as a driver of action and change: experience with Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics, Google Adwords/LinkedIn campaign manager is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive and strategically driven
  • Comprehensive understanding of the B2B buyer journey
  • A creative thinker with the ability to successfully prioritise multiple campaigns/activity running concurrently
  • A can-do approach and a strong team player who can work collaboratively with a range of different stakeholders
  • The ability to work to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, while maintaining a strong attention to detail is essential
  • Experience in utilising CRM platforms such as Marketo, Pardot or Hubspot is desirable.
  • A solid understanding of digital trends and their potential impact on current and future marketing plans
