The opportunity
The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be responsible for handling day-to-day SEO tasks, work directly with service lines and sector stakeholders and act as the first point of contact for basic client or task-related SEO questions for our website, ey.com/en_us. He/she will be helping to be build and optimize content that enhances our brand, serves users and drives organic traffic.
Your key responsibilities
- Perform SEO audits, communicate issues and plan for implementation
- Conduct keyword research and recommend target keywords to guide content development
- Make page optimization recommendations based on SEO best practices and keyword research
- Rewrite meta descriptions, page titles and h-tags
- Project Manage multiple SEO initiatives
- Use Conductor and Adobe Analytics to monitor organic traffic, KW and Page Rank performance on an ongoing basis and communicate progress and insights/recommendations to stakeholders
- Train stakeholders on using Conductor, troubleshoot user issues, build workspaces
- Educate stakeholders and EY.com team on basic SEO best practices
Skills and attributes for success
- Minimum 5 years in an SEO support role
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including ranking factors and technical SEO
- Experience working with SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Conductor, MarketMuse, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, SEMrush
- Experience in website analytics
- Has an experience with HTML
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of SEO relating to content development
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including ranking factors and technical SEO
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong project and time management ability
Technologies and Tools
- Experience working with SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Conductor, MarketMuse, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, SEMrush
- Experience in website analytics
- Has an experience with HTM
