Business Analyst Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will support senior Solution Architects to define, design and deliver new functionalities for the Finance Data Appliance platform. Responsibilities will include:
- Identify requirements and communicate with key stakeholders
- Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including internal datasets and external applications.
- Assess options for solution improvements, including business process and data modeling
- Maintain documentation regarding various projects and processes
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
- Business Analyst Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, business analytics, management information systems or a related field required. Working knowledge of corporate finance processes and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
Key skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed solutions, process improvements and operational decisions
- Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills; quick learner
- Experience testing and mapping various business processes
- Familiarity with data analysis skills and tools such as SQL queries, Power BI
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to articulate a business problem statement , document those requirements, create presentation and influence leadership on the solutions cocreated with the solution architects.
