The Position:

Position General Summary:

The Technician, Billing performs various tasks in support of the department’s sales, business, and/or client operations functions.

Essential Position Functions:

  • Prepare, review, and process invoices for district services and programs.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information.

  • Monitor and track billing cycles to ensure timely issuance of invoices.

  • Maintain and update financial records related to billing and receivables.

  • Reconcile billing statements and accounts.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

  • Provide customer service and respond to billing inquiries in a timely manner from internal departments, parents, and external agencies via Salesforce Cases and or Service Now.

  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

  • Implement improvements to billing processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  • Create, update, and maintain documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Support data entry and cleanliness efforts in the CRM and ERP Software.

  • Ensure data security and confidentiality.

  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, and demonstrating respect for others.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Associate’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Experience:

  • Two years of experience in a related field

  • Experience using databases and CRM tools, preferred
