The Sales Manager is an active and engaged role responsible for leading Sales Account Executives in the pursuit and attainment of new business. You’ll work with individuals, leaders, and executives across go-to-market functions to facilitate a highly effective sales function, culture and team.

In this role, you will specialize in:
- Team Leadership- Building and fostering sales team culture, serving as a constructive liasion with sales team, identifying individual and team professional development and training needs, organizing and facilitating regular training sessions, planning and organizing quarterly sales offsite meetings, evaluating performance and facilitating individual performance feedback, informing and educating the sales team of organizational and process changes and developments, select, develop and retain sales talent, hold team accountable to goals and standards
- Account Strategy and Deal Management - Assign and refresh named accounts for both new business and expansion opportunities. Identify and advance sales playbook (discovery, Great first meetings, demos, objection handling, proposals, RFP responses etc.). Participate in sales calls. Review and approve RFP responses. Address daily escalation and coaching needs re: pricing, objections, information requests etc.
- Sales Enablement and Operations - Document and maintain sales playbook and process. Track, report and analyze sales execution (outbound activity, named account coverage, deal pipeline by stage, uv takeaway program, deals closed, contracting and forecasting, etc..). Partner with marketing regarding Hubspot configuration and data hygiene. Evaluate and adopt other sales enablement tools such as Gong. Partner with Finance on sales commission calculations. Ensure seamless client experience with CS handover
- Internal partner and advocate - Partner with other functions such as marketing, client success and account management to ensure consistent practices and alignment of processes and improvements. Represent the needs of the sales team to the executive leadership team and other functions to enable their success.
We are looking for someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years experience leading individuals in sales roles in a high growth SaaS environment.
- Successful experiences as a Sales Account Executive.
- A solid understanding of B2B sales best practices and processes in areas such as prospecting and deal management.
- Excellent approachability, interpersonal skills, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail skills.
- A high sense of curiosity, self-motivation and accountability.
- Experience and demonstrated discipline using various Sales technologies including CRM.
- Ability to understand team and strategic dynamics and navigate accordingly.
- Strong organizational skills to navigate simultaneous and shifting priorities.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with a largely remote workforce is beneficial.
This role is with an organization in the Milwaukee, WI area. Likely monthly travel visits of 2-3 days to the Milwaukee area is expected in addition to occasional other sales related trips. Relocation support is not available.
