We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Inclusion/SENCo. to join our team at GEMS International School Cairo for the academic year commencing in September 2025.

This position leads our inclusive education practices and supports our diverse student community. This key leadership role ensures that all students, regardless of their learning needs, have access to a high-quality education in an inclusive environment.

The successful applicants will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• A recognized qualification in Special Educational Needs (e.g., Master’s degree in Special Education, SENCo Award, Postgraduate Certificate in SEN, or equivalent),
• Proven experience in SEN and Inclusion
• Experience in a leadership or management role, ideally in a school setting, with a focus on inclusion or SEN provision
• Aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career

• Acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from the country of origin and from all counties in which you have worked.
• Appropriate references from your current and previous employer, corroborated by personal phone calls made to each.
