We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of People Operations to lead and optimize our People Operations team. This role will build and implement effective processes that provide a seamless employee experience from onboarding through offboarding, with a strong emphasis on quality, scalability, and automation. The ideal candidate will be metrics-driven, adept at using data to inform decisions, and will provide consultative advice to executives, managers, and employees on people processes and infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive People Operations strategies from onboarding to offboarding, with a focus on a seamless employee experience, quality, scalability, and automation.
  • Build and manage a metrics-driven team that leverages data insights to inform decision-making and provide actionable information to management and stakeholders on People initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal clients, including executives, managers, and employees, on People processes and infrastructure.
  • Develop, review, and ensure compliance with all People policies and procedures, monitoring new laws and regulations at federal and state levels.
  • Oversee cross-functional projects related to HR compliance, information security audits, onboarding, offboarding, contingent workforce management, HRIS data integrity, and more.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to business users and functional leaders, continuously improving and scaling service delivery.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and act as an escalation point for complex employee and operations-related issues.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage team rhythm and engagement through regular meetings, one-on-one sessions, and career development discussions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the team and stakeholders, providing support and guidance on various systems and processes.
  • Oversee and audit HR systems, including data integrity, employee change forms, terminations, new hires, and benefits.
  • Manage the immigration program, including visa sponsorships, working closely with external immigration attorneys.
  • Own the development and implementation of time-off policies and SOC audit support.
  • Serve as the product owner for Workday modules, including Core HCM, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.

Competencies:

  • Proven experience building and implementing People programs and processes from the ground up, with a demonstrated ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across diverse teams and organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and complex projects with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker capable of addressing both tactical and operational challenges in a fluid environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal guidance.

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $120,000 - $147,000, as well as company stock options.
