As a Senior Manager, IT Operations, you will grow and mentor a team of engineers that owns endpoint management, identity and access management, corporate networks, and enterprise collaboration & productivity SaaS platforms. You will be responsible for driving velocity and productivity within our IT Operations teams while being a key cross-functional resource within Guild.

As a Senior Manager, IT Operations you will:

  • Build a team of IT Engineers specializing in areas such as endpoint management, identity and access management, corporate networking, SaaS administration, and business system integrations.
  • Utilize an extensive technical background to serve as the primary technical resource for the team, guiding complex problem-solving efforts, making informed decisions on technology solutions, and offering technical mentorship to foster team skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage the administration and strategic optimization of various SaaS platforms, including Okta, Sailpoint, Google Workspace, Jamf, Slack, and Microsoft 365 (E3/E5).
  • Develop and Implement KPIs to measure IT operational efficiency and team performance, fostering a culture of accountability, ensuring alignment of team objectives with organizational goals, and effectively recognizing and evaluating individual contributions.
  • Drive agile methodologies within IT operations, fostering a collaborative and adaptive team environment to increase velocity, productivity, and responsiveness in a dynamic environment.
  • Serve as a critical liaison for IT operations with InfoSec, DevOps, Compliance, and many other Guild teams, spearheading cross-functional initiatives and projects to ensure seamless execution and strategic alignment.
  • Oversee the Mobile Device Management (MDM) strategy to ensure secure and efficient management of devices across the organization. This includes developing policies, ensuring compliance with security standards, and optimizing device performance to support business operations and remote workforce needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers, assist in negotiating contracts and ensuring value for the organization.
  • In partnership with InfoSec, ensure our IT operations adhere to SOC and SOX compliance standards, maintaining a strong focus on cybersecurity, data loss prevention, and internal controls to manage risks effectively.
  • Assist the response to IT incidents and problems, ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing impact on the business.
  • Implement continuous professional development programs for staff, including training, certifications, and mentoring to ensure high skill levels and career growth within the team.
  • Regularly communicate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to report on performance metrics, project statuses, and strategic recommendations.

Required Proficiencies:

  • At least 5 years of people management experience in IT Operations
  • At least 7 years of hands-on administrative experience with critical enterprise platforms, including Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365
  • Proficient in scripting, API tools, and other IT automation workflows

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a salary range of $140,000 - $162,500, as well as company stock options.
