The Role
We’re looking to add an Associate IT Operations Systems Administrator to our growing Boston office. You will be part of a scaling international IT Operations team split between the US and the UK. The team is responsible for delivering a secure and resilient end-user estate for a workforce that stretches from the US to the Middle East.
This role has a working schedule of 9:00am - 5:30pm EST and requires two days per week onsite at our Boston office, located downtown in the Copley/Back Bay Area.
What You'll Do
Triage and work incoming tickets within Jira Service Management
Troubleshoot and fix/repair laptop hardware/software issues
Help current and new internal users navigate a variety of tools & SaaS applications used by Immersive Labs
Collaborate and enhance internal documentation
Lead new employee onboarding in the US
Build and deploy new joiner devices (Mac and Windows OS)
Setup, operate and maintain sound and video equipment for use at live events, such as meetings, business events/conventions, and webinars
Research and deploy relevant new technologies
Who You Are
Experience with cloud based management systems such as Google Workspace, Automox and Jamf Pro.
Strong understanding of MacOS, iOS, and Windows. Some knowledge of linux and WSL is a plus
Experience managing users in Onelogin or similar cloud-based identity and access management platform
Experience with Office 365
You have a strong understanding of SaaS applications and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Willingness to spend time helping users understand the best use of available tools end user training
You have a learning mindset with willingness to embrace change, work through challenges, seek new opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
