The Learning Strategist plays a key role in shaping how learning is designed, ensuring solutions are grounded in real business needs, learner-centered, and aligned to an enterprise learning approach. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and translating complex subject matter into effective learning experiences.

This role combines stakeholder engagement, discovery, and design work, with a mix of onsite and hybrid presence in the UAE.

  • Conduct needs analysis through stakeholder conversations, observation, and data review

  • Translate business and performance needs into clear learning objectives and design requirements

  • Create design briefs and documentation that provide clear direction to design and development teams

Instructional Design Across Modalities

  • Design high-quality learning solutions across a range of modalities, including instructor-led, virtual, digital, and on-the-job learning

  • Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles consistently

  • Design learner-centered experiences that support engagement, retention, and application

  • Define assessment approaches that validate learning outcomes and skill development

  • Structure learning pathways that support progressive capability building

Learning Brand and Design Consistency

  • Ensure learning solutions reflect and reinforce a consistent enterprise learning identity

  • Maintain consistency in tone, structure, and design approach across solutions

  • Challenge design or content decisions that dilute quality or consistency

  • Partner with stakeholders to align on design expectations and standards

Working with Subject Matter Experts

  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to extract relevant knowledge

  • Challenge overly technical or content-heavy inputs to keep learning focused and usable

  • Facilitate working sessions that translate expertise into clear, learner-friendly content

  • Balance SME input with sound instructional design judgment

Design Quality and Standards

  • Review learning designs to ensure quality and consistency

  • Provide constructive feedback that strengthens design outputs

  • Contribute to design standards, templates, and best practices

  • Support and mentor other learning designers as needed

Location & Working Model

This role is based in the UAE, with a hybrid working model including onsite presence in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as needed for stakeholder engagement and discovery activities, alongside time for focused design work.

Additional Information

This role supports a dedicated client program and will be employed locally in the UAE in alignment with regional employment requirements.
