Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics & Operations to join our team. This individual Manages the identification, gathering, analysis, and reporting of data that anticipates future business needs and identifies opportunities for additional/complex analysis that will help solve and address highly complex business problems and evaluate scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes and support decision making. Designs, implements, and drives the creation of new standards and best practices in the use of data, models, and analytically derived visualization for purposes of process improvement and executive/business decision making. Provides regular input to senior management on business forecasting, meets regularly with business leaders and key commercial business partners to assist on making strategic decisions for Commercial Sales & Merchandising. Leads a team of analysts, ensuring all customer needs are met.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, or another quantitative field.
- 7 years of experience in an analyst position with emphasis on financial, business or operational research and analysis responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Personal computing skills to include MS Office suite; Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL/Teradata and the ability to manipulate large data sets
- Presentation skills
- Ability to design models/prototypes
- Ability to think abstractly and plan/design technology solutions to meet real world business requirements, but which efficiently scale to a high-growth business
- Ability to apply new knowledge, technology and procedure to job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with other ICG teams to develop the overall wholesale strategies by providing analytical insights and interpretations into the wholesale business.
- Works with product and finance to proactively use analytical insights to drive sales and margins for the wholesales business.
- Leads and monitors the strategic pricing initiative for the retail sales business.
- Forecast and track sales trends, analyzing collected data through a team of analysts. Manages a team that interprets problems and provides solutions to business problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools and statistics.
- Designs and deploys data-science and technology based algorithmic solutions to drive sales and profitability for both the domestic and international businesses. Implements these strategies into pricing models that drive both top line sales and profitability.
- Provides input to senior management and project teams on how new or different data science techniques can benefit textbooks or its customers
- Ensures reports of monthly readouts on customer profitability, investment returns and key levers of value creation are provided to senior management
Hiring Salary Range: $110,981K - $141,123. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
