Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Ingram Data Services team.
The Business Development Manager drives growth for Covered, Ingram's forthcoming platform connecting publishers with booksellers, libraries, and influencers through digital catalogs and DRCs. This role builds and nurtures client relationships, cultivates long-term partnerships, and shapes go-to-market strategy. Leading client advisory groups and education initiatives, the Business Development Manager translates market feedback into meaningful improvements to the service, positioning, and messaging. The role also informs pricing, business models, and commercial strategy to strengthen Covered's market position.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years experience in sales and/or business development in book publishing or digital services
- Proven B2B business development
- Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling services
- Deep knowledge of the book industry ecosystem
- Partners with management to oversee and execute new business development strategy
- Meets or exceeds new account growth targets
- Develops and drives the value proposition of Covered via sales and service initiatives
- Develops reporting that measures opportunities, growth potential, and flywheel impact
- Identifies potential new opportunities that promote long-term growth and business health
- Engages new customers at industry events or through targeted campaigns, partnering with other Ingram client teams to promote the Covered service and actively seek feedback
- Prepares and conducts presentations and education for internal stakeholders and external clients
- Serves as conduit for all large business development queries, including following up on leads
- Pursues and executes strategies to enter new markets
