We are looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Delphi to join our CDE Team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Singularity and CDE projects. The team consists of 7 people and is reporting to the Development manager.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Minimum of 7 years of work experience as a software developer with good understanding of software engineering lifecycle

• Minimum 4 years of work experience in Delphi programming.

• Solid technical and analytical skills. Proven ability to analyse and understand complex business processes and data architectures

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA, OOD, and OOP) experience.

• Strong experience in SQL, .Net, Rest API development.

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Experience in Data processing, JMS/SQL/ActiveMQ, AWS server less technologies (e.g. Lambda).

What will you be doing in this role?

• Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of applications using key skills cross functional team, project-based environment.

• Review of functional, design and technical documentation and specifications, as per project plans.

• Contributing to code and design reviews. Ensuring changes are carried out as a result of these reviews.

• Ensure that all tasks undertaken are completed to a quality standard. This includes delivery on time, within budget, and up to the specification.

• Maintain and optimise existing programs, working within a development team to develop additional functionality to existing systems.

The existing team is based in India, US, UK and Barcelona and brings a strong mix of technical expertise and analytical capability. Team members have deep experience across a broad range of tools and technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PHP, Node.js, machine learning, and a wide variety of AWS services.

You would join a large, collaborative technology group responsible for designing and delivering world-class products and innovative, data-driven solutions within the Life Sciences and Healthcare domain. The team works closely with product, data, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems at scale, leveraging modern architectures and cloud-native technologies to drive real-world impact.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent opportunity with Clarivate, 9 hours per day including 1 hour lunch break.
