We are looking for Software Engineer- Front end who should be passionate about software development and technology, have demonstrable technical and problem-solving skills. The candidate will show a clear understanding of development trends and a broad understanding of development paradigms. They will have excellent organizational skills, good knowledge of the full software development life cycle Angular processes.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 0-1 Year of Relevant Experience

• Primary skill set – UI (Angular) and secondary – backend technologies like Java, Spring
• Solid development experience in a commercial IT environment
• Passionate about code and software architecture
• Strong web-focussed development skills

Expert in the following:

• Strong Angular 18+, JavaScript

Have experience in (either/both of these):

• Developing web services: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST
• Any of the Client-side tools & frameworks: JSON, NodeJS
• Basic Knowledge of:
• Oracle 19c
• Any IDE
• Docker

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Message Queueing: Apache ActiveMQ, HornetQ
• Release cycle of modern, Java-based web applications
• Agile/Scrum Software development methodologies
• Working with continuous integration environments
• Configuration Management tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle experience
• Version Control: SVN, Git, Mercurial
• Object-oriented software design patterns

What will you be doing in this role?

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards.
• Work closely with higher-level engineers to increase functional knowledge.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development.
• Develop and apply understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery methodology.
• Suggest alternative methodologies or techniques to achieve desired results.
• Maintain awareness of technical advances.
• Manually test and unit test all assigned applications.
• Participate as a team member on various engineering projects.
• Write application technical documentation.
• Follow team policies, procedures, and work instructions.

It has multiple products under it that power the life sciences innovation, supporting the entire drug and device development life cycle. We have 4 squads each consists of Developers, Testers, Lead and Scrum Master.

All squads work on one or multiple product of the Cortellis suite (group of application/product).
