Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Content Tech SI master team in Bangalore. We are looking for someone who has good experience in Java with sprint, microservice on cloud environment. It will be great if you have experience with AWS and postgress as well. The current team size is 20+ consist of Dev, QA and BA. In content technology you will get opportunities to work with different master team as with all latest technology.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Design, or related fields education
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software development using Java and spring framework Rest API , Spring Batch, Gradle.
- Strong in data base knowledge [preferably Postgres] , SQL and Spring JDBC
- Junit & Sonar or code quality tools
It would be great if you also had . . .
- Knowledge in AWS components [S3, ECS , RDS ,SQS, SNS, Lamda, Cloud watch, Databricks , Kafka]
- EMR & Scala
- Angular , UI skills
- Agile or Scrum methodologies
What will you be doing in this role?
- Develop and implement the best software solutions that effectively satisfy business functional and non-functional requirements
- Adhere to Clarivate/First to File coding standards for excellence and industry best practices regarding the development processes
- Follow Scrum methodologies and actively participate in work planning, estimations or refinement sessions
- Work closely with the team to share responsibility of keeping time-commitments
- Collaborate with team members and other teams (DevOps) and groups (Product Management) within Clarivate
- Provide production support
- Refactor, update, and extend existing code and frameworks to remain current and maintainable

The SI Master is one of the core components of the Singularity Master, designed to serve as the single source of truth for all scholarly items.
Hours of Work
40-hours per week, permanent full-time position, IST time zone
