The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the company's employee benefits programs. This position will ensure accurate and efficient delivery of benefits, compliance with local and international regulations, and provide exceptional customer service to our diverse workforce across multiple countries. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of global benefits practices and a passion for employee well-being.
What you will do
- Administer and support all global employee benefits programs, including health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Process enrollments, changes, and terminations for employees across various countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with external benefits providers, brokers, and consultants to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee benefits records and databases.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- The Benefits Administrator acts as a primary point of contact for the HR Service Delivery team when assistance is needed for escalated employee inquiries related to health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit offerings.
- Support employee communications regarding benefits programs, including presentations, newsletters, and online resources.
- Support new employee benefits orientations and enrollment sessions.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, claims processing, and other related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefits regulations and best practices.
- Conduct periodic audits of benefits programs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve vendor-related issues.
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process, including vendor coordination, system updates, and employee communications.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of benefits administration.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for benefits processes.
- Assist with the implementation of new benefits programs and initiatives.
What you will need to have / know
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Two years of experience in benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations.
- Some knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
