We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Channel Account Manager (CAM) to join our team in South Korea. The CAM will be responsible for driving new business growth, ensuring partner success, and achieving quota attainment through our Channel Partners. You will be instrumental in building and executing strategic business plans that ensure an exceptional customer experience and drive both new business while supporting renewals. This position reports to the Regional Vice President of Partners APAC.
About the Role
Partner Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage strategic business plans with designated Channel Partners to drive mutual growth and market share in the South Korean region.
Sales Opportunity Management: Proactively discover, qualify, and manage the sales pipeline with Partners, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales funnel status.
Joint Selling & Closing: Participate in joint sales calls with Partners, meet with customers, and actively assist the Partner ecosystem in closing opportunities.
Partner Enablement & Development: Increase Partner capability by enabling them to broaden their product expertise and enhancing their presales, sales, and post-sales skills.
Resource Coordination: Coordinate Partner access to essential internal resources, including Sales Engineering, Field Marketing, and other functional teams.
Marketing & Events Support: Coordinate local Partner involvement in marketing events and training initiatives.
Partner Capacity Building: Recruit new partners to ensure white space coverage, where appropriate.
Collateral Development: Support the creation of sales-related collateral specifically tailored for Instructure's Channel Partners.
About You
Channel Experience: Minimum 5+ years of successful experience working with Channel Partners, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships.
SaaS Industry: Demonstrated success and experience within Software as a Service (SaaS) companies. Experience in Ed Tech is a significant advantage.
Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Fluency in both English and Korean is mandatory to effectively engage with partners and customers in the South Korean market.
Travel: Ability to travel regularly across the region as required to support Partner activities.
Results-Oriented: Self-motivated, competitive, and driven by a desire to exceed sales targets.
Agility: Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration: Proven ability to engage and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
